ABOUT
A video game Interactive story I made as part of "Interactive Storytelling course". The game is set in a fictional "Sphaggeti Western" themed underwater cartoon world.

The player takes control of a sea turtle gunslinger engaging in a western standoff against a dangerous opponent. The first one to draw their pistol, aim and shoot the opponent wins the duel. Once the player defeats his opponent he can find out how the rest of the story unfolds.

I programmed the game using the unity engine as well as created the animations, character designs environemnt art and sound design.

DESIGN
For the visual development I took inspiration from old Sphaggeti Western clieches and asthetic as well as old cartoon films. When developing the artstyle I was inspired by various cartoon styles mainly spongebob, studio Fleicher and maplestory's style of character designs and animation. I chose a limited color pallet inspired by old Sphaggeti Western film posters. When designing the game mechanic my goal was to create a new type of interactive experience which has never been seen before which depicts the tension, anticipation and fast reflexes required in a duells during the times of the wild west
